BOFA STOCK SENTIMENT NEARS “SELL” SIGNAL Bank of America’s Sell Side Indicator rose to 57.2% in September, its highest since March 2022 and just 0.3 percentage points below BofA’s “sell” threshold. The contrarian indicator tracks Wall Street strategists’ recommended equity allocations. Historically, when it reaches “sell” territory, the S&P 500 has returned only about 3% over the following 12 months. Meanwhile, fund managers’ bond allocations are at their lowest since early 2022.
